I am a ​​​​​​senior executive driven by the impact I can have as a leader. I am acutely focused on a human-centric approach to leadership and I have an MA in Organizational Management. Even so, it was my experience growing up with an exorcist father that ultimately inspired me to write The Blue Lady. I recently moved from California to Austin, Texas, with my wife and three daughters. The Blue Lady is my second book. In my free time, you can find me surfing and participating in other extreme sports.

Why Did I write this book?

I have known for years I need to tell this story, but I have struggled with doing so—not because I’m ashamed of my dad or any part of his story or because I doubt it’s true but for the reason I share below. In the book, I chronicle his descent into utter darkness as well as his amazing journey to freedom, and in turn how that story has positively impacted thousands. It’s a hard and heavy story to tell, and to tell it is to relive the memories. Until recently, I have even kept this story from my children.
But as frightening as this story can be, it also presents an amazing view into a world of mystery, wonder, hope, and freedom. When I finally did share my experiences with my family, my children said, “Dad, you have to tell this story.”
That conversation above sparked by my daughters prompted them to introduce me to one of their much listened to podcasts at the time called Poplitics with Alex Clark. In October 2022, I flew out to Arizona with my daughter to film this interview and that show changed the trajectory for me. I knew what I had to do. Soon after that interview, I started writing The Blue Lady.
